Who Can Apply
The program is open to artists, designers, writers, architects, artisans, photographers, musicians, chefs, and creators from diverse fields. We are especially interested in practitioners who:
• engage with local materials, knowledge, and context
• develop work in dialogue with the region
• work with research as part of their practice
• approach their practice with care and sustainability
• value process and experimentation
• are open to collaboration and exchange
During the residency

Participants are provided with accommodation, workspace, materials (where possible), local transportation, and guidance.
They are encouraged to work with local artisans, materials, and knowledge systems, and to deepen their engagement with Cappadocia through direct research and exploration of the region’s cultural and material landscape.

After the residency

Participants are included in A.R.C.’s digital archive with their work and process, featured in the A.R.C. Journal newsletter, and become part of the community network.
Depending on the project and conditions, they may also take part in exhibitions, open studios, or public programs in Cappadocia or Istanbul.
